CLEVELAND (AP) -- The Cavaliers have signed guard Lester Hudson to a 10-day contract.

Hudson had been playing with Austin of the NBA's Development League. He will be available for Friday's home game against Milwaukee.
The Cavs are short in the backcourt following an injury to Daniel Gibson, who has a torn tendon in his foot and will likely miss the rest of the season. Cleveland has dropped five straight games and eight of nine to drop out of the playoff chase.
The 6-foot-3 Hudson was drafted by Boston in 2009. In addition to the Celtics, he has played in the NBA with Memphis and Washington. He averaged 17.6 points, 6 rebounds and 4.2 assists in five games for the Toros.
