EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) -- The New Jersey Nets have signed forward Andre Emmett from the NBA D-League's Reno Bighorns to a 10-day contract.

Nets general manager Billy King announced the signing Tuesday, saying the team waived injured guard Keith Bogans to make room on the roster.

Emmett is currently ranked second in the D-League with a 23.7 scoring average. The 6-foot 5 Texas Tech product is shooting .531 from the field and .459 from 3-point range.

Bogans had surgery on Monday to repair a torn deltoid ligament and a broken left ankle. He played in five games for New Jersey, averaging, 4.2 points and 2.2 rebounds.
