Favors fined $25,000 for tossing ball into stands

New York -- Derrick Favors of the Utah Jazz has been fined $25,000 for throwing a ball into the spectator stands with :24.8 seconds remaining in the third quarter of the Jazz' s 94-91 loss to Dallas on January 19, it was announced Saturday by Stu Jackson, NBA Executive Vice President Basketball Operations.
