DALLAS (AP) -- The Dallas Mavericks have re-signed veteran forward Brian Cardinal.
The defending NBA champions announced the move Monday. Terms of the deal weren't released, but Cardinal will likely get the veteran minimum of just over $1.3 million.
Cardinal joined the Mavericks last as a free agent, when the 6-foot-8 forward averaged 2.6 points, 1.1 rebounds and 10.8 minutes in 56 games.
He has played 412 games over 11 seasons with Detroit, Washington, Golden State, Memphis, Minnesota and Dallas.
