AUBURN HILLS, Mich. (AP) -- The Detroit Pistons have signed Damien Wilkins.

The team announced the singing Saturday and did not release terms of the deal. Wilkins, who plays both guard and forward, averaged 3.5 points and 1.7 rebounds in 52 games with the Atlanta Hawks last season.
He's also played with the Seattle-Oklahoma City franchise and Minnesota.
The 31-year-old Wilkins is the son of former NBA player Gerald Wilkins and the nephew of former Atlanta Hawks star Dominique Wilkins.
