Bobcats' Wallace to miss 'a few games' with ankle injury

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) -- The Charlotte Bobcats will be without starting small forward Gerald Wallace against Miami after he aggravated an existing left ankle injury in practice.

Wallace was ruled out at shootaround Monday, a day after he re-injured the ankle that caused him to miss five games last month. Coach Paul Silas says Wallace will be out "a few games.''

Silas says Gerald Henderson will start against the Heat and move Stephen Jackson to small forward. Wallace has guarded LeBron James in the past.

Charlotte will get forward Tyrus Thomas back against Miami after he was sidelined for two games with a sprained right wrist.
