ORLANDO -- The Charlotte Bobcats defeated the Utah Jazz 85-83 in the opening game of the Orlando Summer League on Monday. Sundiata Gaines missed a 3-pointer at the buzzer that would have won the game for Utah.
Derrick Brown and Gerald Henderson led the scoring for the Bobcats with 20 points. James Augustine also had 20 for the Jazz. Rookie Gordon Hayward add 8 points in his first-ever NBA action.
