OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) -- Golden State forward David Lee has undergone successful surgery to clean out an infection in his left elbow.
The Warriors said Saturday they don't know when Lee will return to action. The former All-Star is out for at least a week.
Lee stayed in the hospital overnight after surgery Friday in Fremont, Calif. His progress will be updated late next week.
Lee cut the inside of his left elbow in a nasty collision Wednesday with the mouth of New York's Wilson Chandler, who left a fragment of a tooth in Lee's arm.
After Lee's elbow swelled and kept bleeding overnight, he went to an emergency room for antibiotics. He missed Golden State's games in Chicago and Milwaukee.
