EL SEGUNDO, Calif. (AP) -- Los Angeles Lakers guard Sasha Vujacic is out indefinitely with a concussion after teammate Lamar Odom's elbow inadvertently hit him in the face.

Vujacic was hit just below his left eye Thursday during practice with the two-time defending NBA champions.

The Slovenian guard will be re-evaluated Friday.

Vujacic averaged 2.8 points and 1.2 rebounds in 67 games with the Lakers last season, his sixth with the club.

He has been competing with Shannon Brown during the preseason for playing time behind Kobe Bryant.
