AUBURN HILLS, Mich. (AP) -- The Detroit Pistons have signed first-round draft pick Greg Monroe.
Terms were not disclosed Tuesday.
The 6-foot-11-inch Monroe averaged 16.1 points, 9.6 rebounds and 1.5 blocks in 34 games as a sophomore for Georgetown last season. He was the Big East Rookie of the Year as a freshman.
The Pistons drafted the New Orleans native with the seventh overall selection in the NBA draft.
