This is it. The final look at the mock drafts before the 2010 NBA Draft, now less than a few hours away.
The one position that was showing a lot of intrigue was the Nets' No. 3 pick. As recently as two days ago, Derrick Favors was the unanimous projection as the Nets' pick. Then, Wesley Johnson gained ground until it was a dead heat. Today, though, the mocks seem to be back on the Favors-to-New Jersey wagon, with eight of the 12 projecting the Georgia Tech forward to the Nets.
A few other trends:
• Baylor big man Ekpe Udoh made a last push up the mock drafts today, and the consensus now has him going sixth to the Warriors. Six of the 12 mocks have the Warriors taking Udoh. Three still have him going to the Pacers.
• Yesterday, Ed Davis was a popular pick to the Pistons at No. 7, but today the mocks are leaning toward Detroit taking Greg Monroe. It's still far from unanimous, with only five of the 12 showing Davis to Detroit, while four still project Monroe. Now Davis is the most likely pick for the Jazz at No. 9, showing up on six of the 12 mocks.
• As we mentioned yesterday, Al-Farouq Aminu is looking like a likely bet to land with the Clippers. Eight of the 12 mocks have him going to the Clippers, and all 12 have him at least going in the lottery.
• Two surprise inclusions showed up today. ESPN's Chad Ford had Kentucky's Eric Bledsoe to the Raptors at No. 13, while Hoopsworld projects Damion James at No. 12 to the Grizzlies. Neither player had seen much love in the mocks until Thursday.
