NEW YORK -- The Toronto Raptors' Chris Bosh and the Oklahoma City Thunder's Kevin Durant today were named the Eastern and Western Conference Players of the Week, respectively, for games played March 29 through April 4.

Bosh tied for the league lead in scoring (31.5 ppg) -- 7.2 points higher than his season average -- and added 11.5 rebounds, 1.5 blocks and 1.5 steals, leading Toronto to a 3-1 record. Bosh had four consecutive point-rebound double-doubles and recorded his ninth career 40-point game (second this season) April 4 against Golden State. On March 31, Bosh tallied 34 points, 11 rebounds and three blocks in a win over the Clippers. This marks Bosh's second NBA Player of the Week award this season.

Durant led Oklahoma City to a 4-0 record, including a win at Dallas, the team's first win there since 2004. Durant tied Bosh for the league lead in scoring (31.5 ppg), and added averages of 8.0 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 2.5 steals (third in the West) and 1.5 blocks, leading the Thunder to its first playoff berth since the 2004-05 season. On April 4, Durant scored 40 points in a win over Minnesota and broke the franchise record for points in a season (2,258), passing Dale Ellis' mark of 2,253 (1989-90). This is Durant's third NBA Player of the Week award this season.
