Thunder's Westbrook to replace Rose in Skills Challenge

DALLAS -- Oklahoma City Thunder guard Russell Westbrook will replace injured Chicago Bulls guard Derrick Rose (bruised right hip) in the 2010 Taco Bell Skills Challenge, part of tonight's NBA All-Star Saturday Night at American Airlines Center in Dallas.

Playing for the Sophomore Team in Friday's T-Mobile Rookie Challenge & Jam, Westbrook scored a game-high 40 points. The Rookies defeated the Sophomores 140-128.

The Taco Bell Skills Challenge will be televised live nationally as part of the NBA All-Star Saturday Night, which will also feature the Sprite Slam Dunk, Foot Locker Three-Point Shootout, Haier Shooting Stars and NBA All-Star Jam Session presented by adidas. TNT and ESPN Radio's national coverage will begin at 8 p.m. EST.
