What will Dwyane Wade do for his next act?

This season, he's had two 50-point games, two games with 16 assists, had four games of five-plus steals, been close to a triple-double nearly a dozen times, and hit a few game-winners.
But on Sunday night, D-Wade did it at the other end of the court. Wade, who scored 39 points, blocked two shots in the final 22 seconds to preserve Miami's come-from-behind 101-96 victory over the Pistons.
"I stayed solid and didn't get into his shot fakes, so I was able to get the block," Wade said.
One person not surprised with Wade's heroics was his coach, Erik Spoelstra: "Dwyane was sensational -- that's what he's been all year."
Maybe Wade's next trick will be guiding Miami past Atlanta for the fourth seed in the East.

Toronto 100, L.A. Clippers 76
Cleveland 96, New Jersey 88

• Dwyane Wade, Heat, poured in game-high 39 points on 13-for-23 shooting to carry Miami past Detroit.
• Luis Scola, Rockets, chipped in with big double-double (19 points, 17 boards) to help Houston beat San Antonio.
• Kevin Durant, Thunder, managed 30 points and eight boards in OKC's win over Minnesota.
• LeBron James, Cavaliers, finished with 30 points, 11 boards and eight assists to carry Cavs to win.
• Chris Paul, Hornets, had 27 points, eight boards and eight assists in New Orleans' win.
• Andre Iguodala, 76ers, made his first 10 shots and scored 27 points, and Philadelphia never trailed in beating Sacramento 112-100 to end a two-game skid.
Oklahoma City's Kevin Durant has scored more than 20 points in 16 of his last 17 games for the Thunder, who improved to 7-5 in their last 12. His lone exception during that span came Feb. 27 at Dallas, when he logged only eight minutes after spraining his right ankle. He scored 30 in the Thunder's 97-90 victory over Minnesota on Sunday.
Raptors center Andrea Bargnani missed Toronto's 100-76 victory over the Clippers with a sore left heel, ending a streak of 130 consecutive games. The only Raptors player to appear in the first 69 games this season, Bargnani had not missed a game since Dec. 9, 2007, when he sat out a home victory over Houston.
Houston beat San Antonio 87-85 to move ahead of the Spurs for the No. 2 seed in the Western Conference. San Antonio had been the second-bst team in the West for more than two months -- behind the Lakers -- though their lead was hardly ever safe. The Spurs, Denver, New Orleans, Portland and Utah are all within three games of Houston.
Zydrunas Ilgauskas became the career leader in blocked shots for the Cavaliers in their 96-88 win over the Nets. Ilgauskas had four blacks and passed John "Hot Rod" Williams (1,200) as the Cavs' career leader with 1,202. He already became Cleveland's top rebounder earlier this season.
The Warriors, who shot a season-best 56.5 percent against Philadelphia on Friday, connected on only 13 of 43 attempts in the first half of a 99-89 loss to Golden State on Sunday.
Vince Carter had 25 points and nine rebounds for the Nets in a 96-88 loss to Cleveland. ... Francisco Garcia made six 3-pointers and scored 24 points for the Kings, who lost 112-100 to Philadelphia. ... Tony Parker had 22 points and 12 assists for the Spurs in an 87-85 loss to the Rockets.
"I think the franchise, the team, the coaches, everybody, everybody that's associated with the Cavaliers -- people that work the concession stands -- everybody, we should all be proud about this. Because it's not promised every year where you get a chance to set records, franchise records, or winning divisions, things like that. Great achievement by us."
-- Cleveland's LeBron James on the Cavs tying a franchise record for wins (57) with a 96-88 victory over the New Jersey Nets.
"I can give you 50 excuses."
-- Wolves coach Kevin McHale after loss to OKC.
