Wizards suffer another blow as Foye sprains right ankle

Posted Nov 10 2009 9:35PM

MIAMI (AP) -- Washington guard Randy Foye sprained his right ankle midway through the second quarter of Tuesday night's game against Miami and was not expected to return.

X-rays were planned, the team said.

Foye's absence added to the Wizards' growing injury woes at guard. Mike James will miss at least the next month with a broken left ring finger, Mike Miller sprained his left shoulder last week against the Heat, and Javarris Crittenton has a left foot injury. Forward Antawn Jamison (shoulder) is also sidelined.

Wizards guard Gilbert Arenas is battling a calf injury, although he was in Washington's starting lineup Tuesday.
