Wizards' Mike James out 4-5 weeks with hand injury

Posted Nov 9 2009 3:36PM

WASHINGTON (AP) -- Washington Wizards backup guard Mike James is expected to miss up to five weeks with a broken bone in his left hand.

The injury was diagnosed Monday, two days after James was hurt in practice. He did not play in Washington's 102-90 loss to the Phoenix Suns on Sunday.

James has played in only one game this season for the Wizards, who are 2-5 and have lost their past four games.
