Blazers' Aldridge leaves with knee injury

Posted Nov 2 2009 12:17AM

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- Power forward LaMarcus Aldridge limped off the floor in the first quarter of the Portland Trail Blazers' game against the Oklahoma City Thunder because of a bruised right knee.

Aldridge came out of the game late in the first quarter and did not play the rest of the game after having his knee taped on the Blazers bench.

Sources tell TNT's David Aldridge the injury was a bone contusion after a knee-to-knee hit, and his status will be reevaluated on Monday.
