Nets waive guard Blaylock, forward Davis

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) -- The New Jersey Nets have waived guard Will Blalock and forwards Bennet Davis and Brian Hamilton.

Nets president Rod Thorn announced the moves Thursday. The team's roster now stands at the NBA limit of 15 players.

Blalock, Davis and Hamilton each signed as free agents in late September.

Blalock appeared in four preseason games, averaging a point and 1 1/2 rebounds. David and Hamilton each played in one preseason game.
