Raptors sign guard Quincy Douby for next season

TORONTO (AP) -- Guard Quincy Douby has signed with the Toronto Raptors for the remainder of this season and the 2009-2010 season.

Toronto signed Douby to a 10-day contract March 24, then re-signed him April 2. The Raptors have two games remaining.

The 24-year-old Douby began the season with Sacramento but was released Feb. 21. He played in five games with the Erie Bayhawks of the NBA D-League before signing with Toronto.

A first-round pick of Sacramento in 2006, Douby is averaging 4.4 points and 1.2 rebounds in 26 games.
