Tournament credentials: Made it to the finals in 2005

My NCAA moment: Going to the Final Four and the championship. Deron hitting that shot. That's got to be the most memorable shot. [Editor's Note: Illinois trailed Arizona by 14 with 3 ½ minutes to go in the regional final. Illinois came all the way back and Deron Williams tied the game with a 3-pointer with 51 seconds to go. Illinois won 90-89 in overtime.]

How often do you think about that run?: I try not to even watch the game. I want to keep the memory like I felt it. Me and Deron never talk about it. I think other people bring it up more than we ever do.

Do you have any souvenirs or memorabilia from the tournament?: We got a ring for the Final Four. We got a ring for playing in the championship. I look at the pieces of the net that we cut down. That's the most special thing.

What advice would you give to someone filling out their bracket?: You've just got to go with your gut. You've got to watch games. You can't just guess. Guessing will get you nowhere.

Are there any players or teams you're following closely this year?: Kansas. I'm watching Sherron Collins, the Chicago kid. And Gonzaga. They've got Jeremy Pargo over there. He's also from Chicago. I watch those two guys a lot, and I'm rooting for them.

Who's your pick to win it?: I don't really have one. I stayed out of the pool this year, because I didn't really watch much. Illinois, Kansas and Gonzaga are the three only teams I watched.

Who do you think is the best team in the country?: I'm going to go with Lousville right now. They're playing the best ball to me. As far as the other teams, I didn't really get to watch a lot, so I didn't want to donate my money.
