• NCAA to NBA: An in-depth look at some tournament facts

Name: Chris Douglas-Roberts, New Jersey Nets

School: University of Memphis, 2008-09

Tournament credentials: 2008 National Championship Game runner-up

I Think About My NCAA Trip ...: Still to this day I think about it, really. But, I'm over it. It's a new tournament now.

When I see anybody really, all of the rookie class gets on me. We joke around about that. I'm over it now ... a little bit. Except when I see Mario [Chalmers]. He's definitely going to bring it up every time.

Who I'm Watching This Year (Team): Of course, I'm a little biased but, I think [Memphis] should have been a No. 1 seed, but Connecticut somehow gets a one seed after losing in the first round [of the Big East Tournament]. Really, out of conference we had some tough losses against Georgetown, Syracuse and Xavier earlier in the year, so a two seed isn't bad. We can still make it happen with a two seed.

Who I'm Watching This Year (Players): We definitely follow it. A lot of those guys told me when I was in college that they were getting ready for me as a pro. They were ready to welcome me into the NBA, so that's what we do. Chris Paul said the same thing about Derrick Rose, 'I'll see you in the big leagues.' They definitely want to show us.

I like [Syracuse's] Jonny Flynn. I like [Memphis'] Tyreke [Evans], of course him and the rest of my Memphis guys. I like [Arizona State's] James Harden. I'm a big basketball fan. I like a lot of those young boys playing. I like the Wake Forest kids over there, they're all pretty good.
