Pistons' Iverson to miss 2 weeks with sore back

AUBURN HILLS, Mich. (AP) -- Detroit Pistons star Allen Iverson will miss at least two weeks because of a sore back.

Team says doctors evaluated Iverson on Wednesday and recommended he put basketball aside for two weeks. Then he will be assessed again.

Iverson will return to Detroit from Washington on Thursday.

He has missed three straight games and Detroit is six games under .500 with him in the starting lineup.
