Raptors guard Calderon out with sore hamstring

Posted Feb 11 2009 8:57PM

TORONTO -- Raptors point guard Jose Calderon missed Wednesday's game against San Antonio because of a sore right hamstring, the same injury that sidelined him for 10 games in January and two in November.

Already without Calderon and All-Star forward Chris Bosh, the Raptors were reduced to nine available players during the game when Joey Graham bruised his left shin.

Graham, who matched his career high with 24 points in Tuesday's win at Minnesota, went scoreless in nine minutes before leaving with 2:56 in the first quarter.

Calderon, who is averaging 13.1 points and is fourth in the league with 8.4 assists in 41 games, sat out last Wednesday's home loss to the Los Angeles Lakers with a sore hamstring, but played all three games on Toronto's road trip.

Anthony Parker moved over to point guard for Toronto, with Jason Kapono starting at shooting guard.

Bosh (sprained right knee) missed his fourth straight game for Toronto, and will not play in this Sunday's All-Star Game in Phoenix. Cleveland guard Mo Williams will take Bosh's place.
