MIAMI (AP) -- Heat forward Shawn Marion worked out Sunday and could be nearing his return from a strained left groin, but shooting guard Daequan Cook will likely miss at least one game with a bruised left thigh.

Marion has been sidelined for much of the last two weeks with the injury. He's officially listed as day-to-day, and no decision on his playing status for Monday's matchup in Miami against the Los Angeles Clippers is expected to be made until close to game time.
Cook got hurt with 4 minutes left in Miami's loss on Saturday night to the Dallas Mavericks. He was feeling somewhat better on Sunday, the team said, but is still listed as doubtful for Monday's game.
