HOUSTON (AP) -- Houston Rockets guard Tracy McGrady will miss the next two weeks to rest his sore left knee.

McGrady has missed 11 games, including the second game in Houston's past four back-to-back sets. The seven-time All-Star had minor surgery on his knee in May and has struggled to regain strength in his left leg.
General manager Daryl Morey and coach Rick Adelman decided to keep McGrady out until he can fully recover.
"Tracy was not able to execute his standard preseason training regimen due to his offseason procedure," Morey said. "He has been fighting through this in order to help the team get past a difficult early season schedule."
The Rockets host the Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday. They will also play without Ron Artest, who's missed four of the last five games with nagging pain in his sprained right ankle.
Artest (16 points) and McGrady (15.4 points) are Houston's second and third-leading scorers, behind Yao Ming (19.5 ppg). McGrady leads the team with five assists per game.
